Travel Advisor

Travel Advisors

Can I join without travel industry experience?

Prior travel industry experience is not required. Start with formal Orientation and ongoing training support. Before conducting business, complete the applicable review, training and activation procedures. The next intake is expected in March 2027. Immediate onboarding applications are not open. Join the waitlist for updates; registration does not guarantee acceptance or onboarding in March. Limited pilot expressions of interest are currently open to travel advisors who would like to try AI tools and new workflows. Together, we will explore ways to improve efficiency, develop business capabilities and provide better travel service to clients.

Can I operate under a personal brand or DBA?

OnTheGo supports personal brands. DBAs require approval under applicable rules. Brand presentation, the business entity and permissions are defined in the current IC agreement and collaboration arrangements. A DBA is not an independent travel agency licence.

Learn More
How can I build a client base?

Start by understanding clients' needs, communicating and providing ongoing service, supported by applicable marketing resources. Ask about client or lead arrangements; we do not promise to allocate clients.

Learn More
Can I specialize in a type of travel?

Discuss interests such as cruises, groups or family travel, then explore the knowledge, supplier conditions and collaboration requirements involved.

Community Host / Creator

Community Hosts & Creators

Who is community collaboration for?

We welcome inquiries from community hosts, content creators, organizers and themed-trip initiators. Project-based and ongoing collaborations can be discussed. There is no uniform host membership plan.

Learn More
Do community hosts have to sell travel?

No. Quoting, selling, contracting, booking and collecting payments must be handled by an appropriately qualified travel business where required by applicable rules.

Learn More
How are community work and travel transactions separated?

Hosts handle content, community and agreed organizing work. Regulated transactions are handled by an appropriately qualified travel business. The project agreement defines the sales entity, communications and responsibilities.

Learn More
How are hosts paid, and who covers costs?

Service fees, promotional fees or legally compliant outcome-based payments may be agreed in a project agreement. The advisor commission system does not apply. Cost sharing and cancellation conditions are project-specific.

Host Support

Host Support

What host support is available?

Supplier registration assistance and resources, Orientation and ongoing training, selected digital tools and manual operations, real team support, marketing materials, and group, cruise and product support. See the details for applicable arrangements. Chinese-speaking support is available for inquiries, onboarding communication and day-to-day business operations.

Learn More
Where does training begin?

Formal Orientation introduces business foundations, client needs, products and booking processes, followed by ongoing training support around your focus. Ask the team about course and activity arrangements. Onboarding communication is available in Chinese; not every training course or supplier resource is offered in Chinese.

Learn More
What marketing and digital tools are available?

Existing marketing materials, digital tools and manual support assist everyday business. Permissions and access depend on what is provided. AI assistance is a developing direction. Third-party system interfaces are not guaranteed to be available in Chinese.

Learn More
How can I explore FAM or professional learning opportunities?

Ask the team about destination experiences, supplier training or specialized learning. Participation and eligibility depend on each activity's terms; discounts or industry credentials are not automatic.

Who is eligible to apply?

Primarily applicants in Canada, excluding Quebec. Other regions are considered individually, without a promise of local selling eligibility. Explain your residence, status, work authorization and market, and complete applicable review, training and activation before conducting business.

Learn More
How do I get fee and service information?

Contact OnTheGo with a clear interest in collaborating. Our team then provides applicable fee options, service information and full collaboration terms. Fee amounts and complete plan details are not listed on the website.

Learn More
How are commissions calculated and settled?

Advisor shares of applicable distributable commission range from 50%–90%, not a commission rate on the total travel sale. Settlement is monthly, without a guaranteed date. The calculation basis and applicable conditions are explained in the current collaboration terms.

Learn More
When can I start conducting business?

Complete the applicable review, training and activation procedures first. Timing depends on the actual process. There is no minimum sales requirement, and collaboration uses the current IC agreement.
